- Freddie Mac’s benchmark rate survey shows a small improvement over the past week. The average rate for a 30-year fixed-rate loan averaged 6.89% for the week ending February 6. This represents a decrease of 0.06 percentage points.
- Freddie Mac’s rate for a 15-year fixed-rate mortgage averaged 6.05%, a decrease of 0.07 percentage points.
